‘Soft’ by Simon Ellis was voted favourite film at November’s night of ‘Teenage Kicks’. Short Sip voters aren’t the only ones to rate this film, it was also nominated in the Best Short Film category at the BAFTAs.

Soft is an incredibly tense film that tells the story of a father and son who are victimised by a gang of bullies intent on humiliating them. It explores the current culture of ‘happy slapping’ (filming assaults on mobile phones and broadcasting them on the internet).

If you missed ‘Soft’ in November you’ll be able to see it when Short Sip holds ‘Best of the Best’ night where you vote for the best film overall.
